Jasper Products is a designer, manufacturer and installer of aluminium work platforms based in the UK who provides access equipment made to the customer’s requirements.
A bespoke work platform can range from a simple step or stair for working at height to large multi-level access staging used for maintenance on vehicles such as aircraft, helicopters lorries, and buses or roof gantries for high level work.
Our aim is to produce high quality system equipment, another term used for, work platforms, that has longevity and quality. We use the better grades and thicknesses of aluminium alloy in our access platforms. Using the best quality materials means our products have been in operation for decades with little or no maintenance giving a much better ROI than cheaper purchased products.
The aluminium work platforms that we produce are all made to the customers’requirements, often customers need a platform that fits into a specific space, has variable heights or needs to be fixed or a mobile platform. We can cater for many applications and meet all the required design, safety and working at height regulations.
Many of our access platform designs require the work platform to be modular, that is flat packed, this allows for cost effective shipping and easier installation in areas that are difficult to access.
This is often an option for aircraft staging that needs to be flown to different bases around the world.
We provide comprehensive OEM manuals and training for the client’s operatives in the use of the access systems and work platforms.
As well as aluminium work platforms to meet the customers’ requirements we also design, manufacture and install GRP (glass reinforced plastic) work platforms, these types of access systems are typically used in areas where non-conductivity is essential such as rail trackside.
They are also used in areas where chemical resistance is a priority, such as the petro chemical industry.The term access equipment extends to roof gantries and walkways. A roof gantry is a working platform used for maintenance and plant located on the roof of building and the replacement or cleaning of glass.
The roof gantries and walkways a best made from aluminium as this eliminates dis-coloration and deterioration from rust and are much lighter than steel so reduces the impact on the roof structure and surface. Aluminium roof walkways help users gain access to areas of the roof in a safe manner. The roof pedestrian walkways can be raised to protect the roof and protect the user from injury from slippery surfaces often found on roof surfaces.
Roof walkways include handrails to prevent falls from height and prevent the users from going into unsafe areas and can include fixed up and over stairs and steps.
Where access is required to multiple locations along a roof a mobile roof gantry is the solution. These can be easily moved by the user the length of a roof on our unique track and trolley rolling system. This allows for easy access to specific parts of the roof where glass or gutter cleaning is needed or for emergency glass replacement or repairs.
