Work Platforms

Jasper Products Ltd design, manufacture and install bespoke work platforms for a number of applications and industries, i.e. aviation, automotive, construction, engineering, petrochemical, rail, water and nuclear to name a few.

Designs are developed around customer requirements for temporary or permanent use. Whether mobile or fixed, they can be independent welded units or modular flat packed systems and can incorporate stairways, inclined or vertical access ladders.

All access and work platforms are designed to the current regulations such as: BS EN 12811-1, TG20, BS EN 1004, BS 5395, BS EN 14122 and BS EN 1090 (CE Marked) for permanent solutions.

Both the design and manufacture process is completed in-house at our factory in Mold, North Wales. We typically manufacture in aluminium due to it’s high strength, lightweight and corrosion resistant properties. Our aluminium work platforms are light but strong and can be designed to take most workloads ranging from 0.75 up to 5kn/m.

We use a variety of decking materials to suit the loading criteria and the surrounding environment of each project. They include GRP, non-slip marine ply, aluminium chequer plate or perforated aluminium planks.

Our experience and knowledge of aluminium work platforms has developed over many years resulting in a vast quantity of bespoke access platforms sold to many satisfied customers in many industries.

However, we are also accustomed with Glass reinforced plastic (GRP) as it’s non-conductive properties make it the preferred material in certain environments.

With modern architects experimenting with unusual building shapes it has been essential that access solutions have developed to be flexible and innovative, which we strive to achieve here at Jasper Products. A number of bespoke work platforms have been designed, manufactured and installed to the profile of new build projects. All the solutions have been unique to the building structure and design, manufactured and where necessary installed by Jasper Products.
